Family Life Ministries, located at 5814 Rittiman Plaza, serves the community by providing an interdenominational worship service for individuals and families of every culture and background. The Church utilizes the Holy Scriptures (The Bible) as the framework from which we address issues that affect our culture, the family structure, relationships, economics, education and more.
We offer age-appropriate classes for learning biblical principles, social interaction, and the foundation for healthy families. We also offer small group programs for married couples, singles, youth and young adults.
The ministry impacts the community both spiritually and socially through workshops, training and intervention in many areas: financial workshops, parenting skills, mentoring and tutoring, financial assistance, marriage enrichment, intervention with military families, youth leadership workshops, drug education and abstinence for youth, employment readiness for adults, substance abuse education and awareness.
Family Life Ministries has also been working within the community for the past 20 years to address social issues of child abuse and neglect, youth and family violence, offender reentry programs, HIV-AIDS, education, family development and community development in many of the distressed areas of the city such as Salvation Army, Haven for Hope, Wheatley Courts, Eastside, Northeast and the Westside communities specifically.
